Either you're late to the show and think Dawn is the blogger, which has already been proven to be false or you're the biggest hypocrite here. Is your message take down who ever is closest and visible? Shoot first ask questions later? You say don't be mean but you're going to take the lowest blows. I might not of agreed with Andrea's post, but personally I think calling her opionins "Fucktard" or whatever is a little harsh.
Since we all are entitled to an opionion I left it alone and didnt add to the post. But in comparison I think the author who wrote the post about Dawn crossed the line. Yes you are also entitled to an opionin but why be so harsh? TOTALLY uncalled for.
I'm just as guilty as others for giving a little ribbing to an individual I disagreed with. But there was a line crossed
and it shouldn't of been. That line is our families and our fertility. Our Fertility isn't something we all have control over and it's no ones place to make statements about it and what she should or shouldnt be doing with it.

I LOVE the word "fucktard," I have been using it for a long time. I also call lots of things "retarded." That doesn't mean I am making fun of truly mentally disabled ppl. I also use the word "gay" to describe something that's fucked up, does that mean I'm making fun of gay ppl? No, 2 of my good friends are gay and use this term all the time.
As to Drama, it's hilarious that you take away the anonymous feature and think it's funny that ppl quit talking since they can't be anonymous. Um, YOU are anonymous, and I'm sure you wouldn't have it any other way. Pot. Kettle. Black.

I am so there with you! I don't really use retarded as much just b/c why use three syllables when you can do it in one or two! LOL And I did have a mentally and physically challenged cousin who was the flower girl in my wedding, so I do have a relative that would be classified as "retarded" if that were the appropriate terminology (which it's not anymore, I don't think). And we totally use gay all the time. Hell half our friends are gay and THEY use it, LOL!

Seems so easy for rude and hateful women with no education or sense at all about humanity or their fellow "sister" to down someone based on the lack of being able to have something they want so desperately. I wish sometimes that there was some sort of dire penalty for those who are so hateful and spiteful with their belittlement that they would think twice about ridiculing someone based on fertility or not.

As for the terminology, "retarded" is the correct word, but it is not a friendly term, so most people choose another. If someone's development is slowed, it is retarded. Simple as that. "Retarded" is a medically correct term, but not a socially correct term. At least that's how it's explained by our staff at the school I work at. (NO, I was not busted for calling kids retarded, either!!!!) ;)
However, just like the term abortion (can I say that here?) being used for a m/c, it just doesn't sound nice, so people choose softer terms. But it is the medically correct term.
