Oh no... You MUST stay out of the sun at all times - for your baby's sake! Pull down the shades, close the curtains! Only go out at night!Seriously?? I do sometimes try to be a little but impartial, but this one has STOOPID written all over it!

Awwwwww Drama! Surely she is a first timer on the pregnancy rollercoaster so I have no faults with her asking. I think it's cute she even considers something like that with her baby.

Tell her to put a thermometer in her belly button...if the amniotic fluid starts to boil she has been in the sun to long ;)
I don't see this as a stupid question at all. There are certain things you can't ingest as well as certain topical things you shouldn't be exposed to, so why would the sun be different? At least she's thinking ahead and asking for any potential dangers.
