A bitching marathon??

I few comments I want to make on these posts. Firstly, Is it safe to be training for a marathon while 7 months pregnant? I am not sure. I do commend her for exercising.

What is up with the second poster?? Is she a doctor? Is she qualified to make the statement that implies that what she is doing is wrong? And whats with the snotty attitude? Oh. SHE is not impressed. SHE is NOT going to give any sympathy or applause. Please. I think most of us don't really give a shit what you think.

Unless she is a doctor, I, for one, am not interested in her medical opinion.

I sort of think its selfish of her overworking her body at especially 7 months. She could put herself into pre-term labor and her abby could spend months in the NICU...i sort of understand what the other poster is saying. She knows she should chill out but can't stop? Looks like she puts herself first over the wellbeing of her unborn child!

I agree with the second poster as well. I am not impressed by someone who shows no regard for the helpless child in her belly.

If you know you are causing problems but say you will do the same thing again tomorrow, that sounds like a bigger issue than you are willing to admit!

Well to be honest it seems that the 7 month pregnant woman is full of shit. If she did run 8 miles in 60 minutes, why tell a forum?

She didn't. She is trying to prove to people she doesn't even know that she is "tough". She will probably post in 2 months that she popped the baby out with no meds and the nurses and doctor were amazed at her stamina! Afterall, she is Awesome!

I don't think the first poster is full of shit. If she is in shape, then she can run that. A lady that worked for my dad cross-trained when she was pregnant. That's what her body was used to. She was in awesome shape with an adorable baby-bump.....I hate her now ;-)

I didn't find the thread, so I really can't say anything else. But the training is not harming the baby necessarily. I would like to think she is informing her doc about all this.
